Using Behaviour Change Techniques and Hands-On Tools to Enhance your Unique Nutrition Practice

BUY ITEM | $ 39.95

This one-hour video provides practical tips and strategies on how to use behaviour change techniques in your counselling sessions using the MOPTM approach. MOPTM stands for Motivation Over the Phone.

The approach utilizes evidence-based counselling strategies aimed at changing client behaviour and motivation levels. MOP was originally developed for EatRight Ontario (ERO), a nutrition contact centre, but its application can be transferred across different counselling settings, including face-to-face and over the telephone. This video recording will introduce you to the MOP approach.

Along with this presentation, you can enhance your skills with the MOP Toolkit. The hands-on toolkit includes 11 techniques and skills including reflective listening, agenda setting and goal setting each with a set of verbal stems to help in the delivery of a client centred approach from the moment of introduction to the development of the care plan. You can purchase the toolkit here.
