This one-hour video provides practical tips and strategies on how to use behaviour change techniques in your counselling sessions using the MOPTM approach. MOPTM stands for Motivation Over the Phone.

The approach utilizes evidence-based counselling strategies aimed at changing client behaviour and motivation levels. MOPTM was originally developed for EatRight Ontario (ERO), a nutrition contact centre, but its application can be transferred across different counselling settings, including face-to-face and over the telephone. This video recording will introduce you to the MOPTMapproach and accompanying ToolkitTM which you can purchase for additional support at the Dietitians of Canada Store https://www.dietitians.ca/Store/Product.aspx?skuid=525
